Fresno, CA — Fresno Unified Administrator, Terri Kimber-Edwards is pleased to announce her candidacy for Fresno Unified School Board Trustee Area 7 (Bullard Region).
Terri is a proud Bullard resident and has served the students and families of Fresno Unified for the last 25 years as a Parent, Teacher, Vice Principal, Principal, and District Administrator. As a former FUSD student and graduate herself, she has benefited and believes in quality education for all students. She is committed to taking her next step in service to Fresno Unified by continuing to build communities of healthier children and families--establishing and ensuring that policies and procedures are effective and in place, and that students are career-ready to become our next leaders.
From the classroom to the boardroom, Terri’s campaign slogan, “For Such A Time As This," signifies that her accumulation of expertise, knowledge and relationships with families and community stakeholders puts her in position to serve the school district as a whole.
Terri is the proud daughter of Les and Pauline Kimber, former City Council member and co-founders of Fresno's first African American newspaper, The California Advocate. Terri and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters, Brittany and Brooklynn, also former FUSD students and graduates.
