Fresno Housing Boards of Commissioners to consider appointment of new CEO at Tuesday’s board meeting

FRESNO, CA--Fresno Housing Boards of Commissioners will consider contract approval for Tyrone Roderick Williams at the regularly scheduled September 28 meeting this Tuesday at 5:00 PM.

This item comes after an extensive nationwide search led by Board Chairs Cary Catalano and Adrian Jones. The search committee included commissioners as well as community members. In August, the general public and staff were also invited to view and participate in presentations by finalists.

Williams has more than 25 years of experience in urban revitalization. His development activities have been at the forefront of neighborhood transformation efforts in Boston, Houston, Atlanta, and Sacramento. His experience includes leading activities in the for-profit, nonprofit, philanthropic and government sectors. Williams is an industry leader in organizational development, financing and project implementation. Most recently, he served as Deputy Executive Director at the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency.
